Start Up
Start up service is needed to turn the water on and fine tune the cooler to perform at optimal cooling for the season.
When you should have this service performed it is weather dependent. This should not be done before the last freeze of the season.
Our startup service includes:
-Reconnecting and checking the water line, Does not include checking the water line in the attic. (Attic check is an additional charge)
-Rinsing out the water pan.
-Reaming the spider assembly.
-Lubing the bearings.
-Adjusting the water level.
-Diagnostic to determine if the system needs any repairs and to make sure your cooler is performing at the optimal cooling level. (does not include electrical diagnostic)
If you have aspen or synthetic pads, we suggest changing once a year. The best time to do this is at start up. If you have a single inlet cooler your pads should be changed every five to seven years depending on the water in your area.

Installation
Needed when you do not currently have an evaporate cooler installed on your roof. We recommend not installing a window mounted cooler because there is no aesthetically pleasing way to seal the window after installation that can prevent rain water from leaking into the home or unit.
Our installation includes everything needed for your evaporative cooler except flashing for the cooler duct. A roofer will need to be hired to perform that service. You can use our recommended roofer or we will work with a roofer of your choice.
There are two different types of coolers to consider when installing your cooler.
-Aspen cooler
-Single inlet cooler
Extra Items
To consider installing with your installation
-Clean Machine
-Flex Duct Run/ Whole House Distribution When installed can often increase the amount of offered rebates.
-Drain Hose. helps prevent damage and discoloration to the roof shingles.
-Up Duct
-Digital Thermostat. Automatically turns cooler on and off at a set temp. increasing energy efficiency
Replacement
Needed when you currently have a cooler that has a hole in the water pan, the weld on the shaft is broken or the shaft is bent or broken. Other problems are usually repairable and worth looking into. We do not recommend tearing or trying to seal the pan. Not only does it not last long, but it can mask the problem until the pan next to the duct rusts out and water leaks into the house or unit.

Flex Duct Run/ Whole House Distribution
One of the major complaints we hear about evaporative coolers is that a certain part of the house can not be cooled or that clients don't want to leave their bedroom doors open to cool their rooms. This can be easily solved by installing a flex duct run to any particular area, delivering cool air right to those trouble areas. By having a whole house distribution system installed, you can more evenly cool your home and greatly reduce the noise of the evaporative cooler fan. Install an Up Duct and a thermostat with your Flex Duct for a user friendly system.
Up Duct aka Pressure Relief Damper
Our client's sometimes find it annoying to have to open their windows or doors to ventilate the hot air and sometimes find it necessary to leave their coolers on while they are away and do not want to leave windows and doors open. By installing the proper amount of up ducts not only will it insure proper ventilation which will optimize your cooling, but it will also allow you to not have to open windows and doors ever again. Up ducts vent the hot air into your attic and out through your attic vents. An added benefit is cooling of your attic, which will make your home cooler and prevents fire hazard. Install a Flex Duct and thermostat with your Up Duct for a user friendly system.
It's recommended that you have your rain gutters cleaned twice a year. When rain gutters are not clean, it inhibits the flow of water and can pull the rain gutter away from the house which can damage the roofing near the rain gutter. Rain gutter cleaning can be done in coordination with your swamp cooler service or we can perform this service independently.
